Gary D. Silverfield

Mr. Silverfield is the founder and CEO of Silverfield Development Company and Silverfield Cranford Commercial Realty; collectively The Silverfield Group. Based in Jacksonville, Florida, The Silverfield Group is a full service real estate firm with a focus on both commercial and residential real estate development and brokerage in Northeast Florida, and across the southeast. In addition to being a licensed real estate broker and building contractor, Mr. Silverfield has over 30 years experience in residential and commercial real estate development and investments including both land and buildings. Among his other professional endeavors, Mr. Silverfield was a founding partner in the Stornoway Real Estate Investment Management firm, consulted for ITT, and was President of Renaissance Hospital Management. Mr. Silverfield is a graduate of Washington & Lee University, and received a Masters in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina.

 

Leed Silverfield

Leed is a Jacksonville native who graduated from Washington & Lee University with a BS degree in Business Administration. Leed is President of Silverfield Development Company and Silverfield Cranford Commercial Realty. He is also Vice President of Atlantic Beach Partners, LLC, the group responsible for the development of the Atlantic Beach Country Club. Leed serves on the Board of Directors for the Northeast Florida Builders Association and the St. Johns Southeast Master Association. He also serves on the board of Congregation Ahavath Chesed. Leed is a member of the Urban Land Institute, International Council of Shopping Centers, and National Association of Industrial & Office Properties. He is also a mayoral appointee serving on the Subdivision Standards & Policy Advisory Committee for the City of Jacksonville. In 2015, Leed was a recipient of the Jacksonville Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 award, which honors business and community leaders under the age of 40.

 

James Cranford

Mr. Cranford started his career in real estate in 1978 joining the commercial real estate brokerage firm of Walter Dickinson, Inc. During his seventeen years at Walter Dickinson, Jimmy practiced in many areas of commercial real estate, eventually rising to senior vice president of the firm. He was involved in various real estate investments with his colleagues while at WD.

In 1996 Mr. Cranford joined Gary Silverfield and formed Silverfield Cranford Commercial Realty, Inc. He is now in his thirty third year practicing commercial real estate brokerage.

Through his affiliation with Silverfield Development, he has been an active partner in numerous developments and acquisitions since 1996. Mr. Cranford has been a Certified Commercial Investment Member since 1998, (CCIM).

He graduated from Washington and Lee University with a degree in Business Administration.

 

Karl Hanson

Karl Hanson serves as vice president of Silverfield Group and several of its affiliated companies. With a diverse background in commercial real estate development, asset management and real estate law, Karl focuses on acquisitions and development of commercial properties and land for either commercial or residential development. In transactions where his experience provides added value to select clients, Karl represents third parties in commercial property sales and leases.

Prior to joining Silverfield Group, Karl served as Flagler Development Company’s Vice President – Market Officer, North Florida from 2006-2011. In that role he was responsible for the leasing and financial performance of 4.2 million square feet of office and industrial space in Jacksonville, which included the development of two office buildings totaling over 260,000 square feet. He also oversaw the entitlement, development and disposition of Flagler’s North Florida land holdings. From 2000-2006, he served as Flagler’s Vice President & General Counsel. In that role he managed the legal work for Flagler’s real estate holdings, which consisted of 12+ million sq. f.t. of office and industrial buildings and 10,000+ acres of land, and oversaw portfolio financing transactions in excess of $350 million.

Actively involved in the professional community, Mr. Hanson served as President of the NAIOP Northeast Florida chapter for 2011 and has been active in the North Florida District Council of the Urban Land Institute previously serving as chairperson of the Programs Committee and Technical Assistance Panel Committee.

 

Beth Breeding

Ms. Breeding is currently Vice President of Silverfield Development Company and Silverfield Cranford Commercial Realty, Inc. as well as numerous other companies.

She is a Jacksonville native and has twenty eight years of real estate experience
in the Northeast Florida market with twenty of those years specializing in real
estate development.

A licensed real estate broker, Beth serves on the Board of Directors for the Johns Creek Condo Association and is a member of the Dreams Come True House Committee, Southpoint Association, and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

 

Laura Franklin

Laura Franklin joined the Silverfield Group in January 2016 as Controller. Laura is a Jacksonville native who graduated from Salem College with a BA in Business Administration and holds a Master’s of Accounting from The University of Florida. Laura is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida.

Prior to joining The Silverfield Group Laura worked with her father in their consulting business, The Shircliff Group, for seventeen years. The Company specialized in mergers & acquisitions and financial consulting with Pepsi-Cola bottlers.

 

Angie Mardini

Angie Mardini joined the Silverfield Group in 2010 as Property Manager. Angie is a Jacksonville native who attended Florida Community College of Jacksonville and the University of Memphis. Prior to joining The Silverfield Group Angie worked in the insurance industry.

As Property Manager, Angie works closely with our tenants to ensure the properties are well maintained and all tenants’ needs are met. Over the years she has built strong relationships with our tenants, which has led to low turnover of our leased properties.

Angie enjoys spending time with her three children and party planning on the side.
